Dane Cook is an American stand-up comedian and screen actor.
Cook’s stand-up comedy material is mostly observational humor. His routines include such diverse topics as his time spent working at Burger King, car accident mayhem and geek humor.
Dane Cook often refers to specific places or things using his own slang terms. For instance: Walgreens is “The Wall”, Burger King is the “BK Lounge” (actually this phrase was first used by De La Soul) and a sandwich is a “sangwich” (which was coined several years before this by the British television show Blackadder).
Among his numerous television credits are performances on Comedy Central Presents and Comedy Central Bar Mitzvah Bash.
