I think she’s very knowledgable and aware of the dutty wine moves, even though she did not exhibit all the other features of the dance move. In addition, her entire body was in complete accordance with the dutty wine dance moves and the rhythm (special mention -her ass), in comparison to other of its kind.

well i’m a female trini now actually seeing what this dutty wine is like. i tried it with the split and all and i ended up with a pull muscle by my crotch and a swollen neck. for first timers ” be careful” !! I’m from Jamaica - Jamdown - where Dutty Wine originates. Really, the girl did not do so badly at all. Re the song, I much prefer Tony Matterhorn’s version though. And if the song did not originate from him I’m disappointed that he did not state that during the interview on ‘On Stage’.
I quite like the Jamaicans overseas using the patois. Guh deh Jamaikans - Nuh lef out unoo heritage - Big Up Miss Lou!! Keep it going, I quite like the original patois and find humorous - the others who are attempting to sound Jamaican and caan spell di patois - but big up to unoo too!!

I liked the video it was fun. the main moves in dutty wine involves the neck and hip rotaion any other move such as the split is just pple adding their own flavor to the dance.
